Firewood

Every year in Connecticut, trees are blown down by storms, cut by residents, and cleared by utility companies. The wood is typically left to rot or disposed of at a waste facility.

With permission, we harvest these resources - the best hardwood maple, oak, birch, beech, and ash. Because we use a single wedge splitter, we inspect each piece. The wood is then stacked and covered to dry for at least 1 year before selling.

We will be taking orders for the 2026 season starting in July. Cords will be $200 and no delivery is available. Customers must load themselves at our woodyard.
